St. Dominic High School is honored to present the Teacher Leonora Barbieri Visual Arts Memorial Scholarship, established in loving memory of Teacher Leonora Barbieri, an artist, educator, and DJ whose life reflected an extraordinary passion for creativity, cultural diversity, and empowerment through the arts.

About the Scholarship

The scholarship aims to support a student who demonstrates strong artistic talent, creativity, and a dedication to visual and musical expression — qualities that echo Teacher Leonora’s vibrant legacy.

Eligibility & Application

Eligibility

  • Current Form 4 student (rising Form 5)
  • Taking Visual Arts for CSEC or IB Diploma
  • Active in visual arts extracurricular activities
  • Interest in music and artistic culture

Application Requirements

  • Portfolio of 3–8 original artworks
  • Artwork aligned with scholarship themes
  • 500–750 word personal statement
  • Visual Arts teacher recommendation
  • Interview for shortlisted candidates

Award

The selected student will receive up to XCG 450 in financial support toward continuing studies in Visual Arts.

The award will be presented during the End-of-Year Awards Ceremony, recognizing the recipient’s creativity and embodiment of Teacher Leonora’s spirit.
